on saturday the 19th we're delighted to have one of our favourite artists coming to play for us at the amersham. not content with putting out some excellent records on his tigersushi label, making some of the top remixes of the last few years and releasing an excellent artist album in 'monsters and silly songs', JOAKIM is one of the best dj's we have ever seen and we're delighted he'll be gracing the decks for us.

as an added bonus this night will feature a SPECIAL SECRET GUEST DJ... we can't give too many hints as to who it might be, but let's just say that he's played live for us before. also, you'll have to get down early as he will be playing a warm up set rather than the glitchy techno he's known for...

finally, this sunday sam is taking leave of his senses and running the paris marathon along with his wife . they are raising money for the lions hospice, an amazing organisation, providing care free of charge to people with serious, life-shortening illnesses. only 18 per cent of their funding comes from the primary care trust, the rest is in donations. if you like to donate in honour of their efforts please go here.
