we're back and ready to grab the new year by its curl and shorties. helping us out with that bizarre task is ex-pat irishman gavin herilhy. the mixmag scribe and now in demand dj and producer has upped sticks to some place called berlin to ply his trade.

since his debut hit 'the machine ate my homework' came out moodmusic, he has released his brand of underground house and techno on kindisch, buzzin fly and get physical amongst others. you can check out his work over at his myspace.

he's put his dj hat for us this with this tidy mix - look out for gavin playing in a venue near you soon. his travels have already taken him as far afield as ibiza, ireland, the ukraine and poland to name a few. londoners can catch him on sunday 25th january at 93 feet east's fuse party.
