this week's ace mix comes courtesy of the fine chop shop collective. run by a group of 4 music lovers based in dalston, their playlist includes musical genres from across the world: 96/97 hip hop, detroit techno, cumbia, boogie and dancehall to name a few. chop shop have thrown a number of sporadic parties throughout the year including: bbqs on balconies, basements of peruvian restaurants, multi storey carparks.

but the one that we're most excited about is their upcoming NYE party for which sam will be the main guest dj. taking place at the new ? bar in stoke newington, (recently opened by the people who brought you mustache bar in dalston), if you're at a loose end please do come along and join the party it's going to be very special. they've promised a turkish buffet, an out door smoking area and live music - what more could you ask for!? Tickets are very reasonably priced at £10 and selling fast and are available here,
