this week we've delighted to have a mix from one of our favourite artists of the last few years - axel willner aka the field. axel has had a fantastic year taking in the release of his sophmore album 'yesterday & today' followed by an seemingly endless tour round the world with his impressive live band - which you'll remember shook the rafters off cargo at our night there back in april.

to close out the year kompakt have released the 'y & t' remix ep featuring interpretations of some of the album's tracks by rainbow arabia, gold panda and walls - that up and coming duo walls featuring banjo or freakout's alessio natalizio and our own sam willis which you can listen to on their myspace. you can pick up the ep right now here. it'll make a smashing stocking filler and this mix is the perfect soundtrack for a spot of tree decoration and mulled wine.
