this week we're giving you the first hour of our set we played in room 3 at fabric way back in may. if you want more then we recommend you subscribe to fabricfirst where you can hear some more of the set streaming along with lots of other great sets and much, much more.

this saturday we're hitting glasgow (for definite this time) with our buddy luke abbott to play at the men and machines night. if you're about come down to stereo and dance the night away.

lots of stuff

quite a few bits of business this week.

first up, londoner's tomorrow night get down to dalston for sam's set alongside padded cell and the freak at suspiria: "a psychedelic celebration of horror and disco dance". all details are in the flyer above

sadly due to forces out of our control steve's appearance at death disco in glasgow on saturday has been postponed for now. a shame but glaswegians fear not, you can see us play at men and machines @ stereo with luke abbott next saturday the 26th.

with summer here (some of the time) we're taking our foot of the pedal slightly for a while and going fortnightly. so no new mix this week but we'll be back next thursday.

23 year old music student and part-time waiter ricardo tobar hails from the seaside town of viña del mar in chile from which to began to make waves last year with his debut release 'el sunset' on trusty ol border community.

taking inspiration from the seemingly disparate influences of goa trance uk shoegaze scene (as evidenced on this weeks mix) his warm, fuzzy and intensly musical sounds is set to reach even more dancefloors with the release of his second bc EP 'boy love girl'. a scrungy delight of sparkling synths, rippling guitars and pulsing beats, you can purchase it here.

low motion disco are a couple of secretive guys who on 16th june are following up there recent stellar singles love love love parts 1 and 2 with an album 'keeping it low' on eskimo.

mixing KLF style sample skulduggery to blissed out electronics, dubbed up beats and uplifting melody hooks low motion disco say “we‘re coming from wherever the laptop takes us. we love loads of different music and we love glueing stuff together.” this mix gives you idea of how that sounds.
